Privacy policy

What we collect when you enquire, why we keep it, who else sees it, and how to have it corrected or erased.

1. Who this policy is from

This policy covers this website and the enquiries that reach us through it. It is written against the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025. In the language of that Act we are the data fiduciary for everything described here, and you are the data principal.

2. What we collect, and when

Two things put your data in our hands: you send the enquiry form on this site, or you contact us by phone or WhatsApp. There is no account to create here and nothing to log in to, so browsing the site anonymously collects nothing about you by name.

From the enquiry form
Your name, email address and phone number, the kind of enquiry you picked from the list, and the message you wrote.
Added by our server
The IP address the enquiry was sent from, and the browser and operating system your browser reports. Nothing else about the device is read.
How you reached the site
If you arrived from an advertisement or a campaign link, the campaign identifiers in that link and the page you landed on are stored with the enquiry, so we know which advertisement produced it. These identify the advertisement, not you.
By phone or WhatsApp
Whatever you tell us, which is normally a name, a number, dates and a pickup address.
While a booking runs
Travel dates, pickup and drop addresses, passenger numbers, and the billing name and GSTIN where an invoice needs them.

We do not ask for and do not want your Aadhaar number, a copy of your photo ID, your card number or your bank details. ID is shown to hotels and to state check posts on the road, not to us.

No payment is taken on this website, so no card or account number is ever typed into it. The payment page publishes our own bank and UPI details and links out to the payment provider's own page.

3. Why we hold it

  • To answer your enquiry, quote a rate and confirm a booking.
  • To give the driver the name, mobile number and pickup address he needs to find you on the day.
  • To raise the GST invoice, and to keep the accounting record Indian tax law requires us to keep.
  • To reach you about the trip itself: driver and vehicle details, a change of vehicle, a delay.
  • To spot and stop abuse of the enquiry form. That is the only reason the IP address and browser are recorded.

There is no newsletter and no mailing list on this site. We do not add an enquiry to a marketing list, and we do not build a profile of you from your behaviour on the site.

4. Cookies and analytics

This site sets two cookies of its own. One holds your session. The other carries the token that proves a form submission came from this site and not from somewhere else. Both are needed for the enquiry form to work at all, and neither identifies you to any third party.

The site is also built to load Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Google Ads and the Meta pixel. Each of those loads only once its account ID has been entered by us, and is absent from the page until then. Where one is running, it sets its own cookies and reports page views plus three events: a click on a phone number, a click on a WhatsApp link, and the fact that an enquiry was sent. The phone number reported in the call event is ours, not yours. Your message is never sent to any of them.

One optional setting goes further. Where we switch on enhanced conversions in Google Ads, the email address and phone number you typed are converted in your own browser into an irreversible SHA-256 fingerprint and only that fingerprint is sent, so Google can tell that the advertisement you clicked produced an enquiry without receiving anything readable. The same applies to the Meta pixel where it is running. The readable values never leave our server. This setting is off unless it is stated as on here.

Cookies can be blocked or cleared in your browser settings. Blocking them stops the enquiry form working, because the token cookie is what proves the submission came from this page.

5. Who else sees it

We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass it to advertisers or to other travel operators.

  • The driver assigned to your trip gets your name, your mobile number and the pickup address. Nothing else.
  • Where an analytics account is connected, Google or Meta receives the page views and events described above, and no readable contact details.
  • Our hosting provider holds the server the database sits on, as any host does.
  • Where we connect our own customer management system, a copy of the enquiry is sent to it and it is held to the same obligations as this site.
  • A court, a police authority or a tax authority, where Indian law requires us to produce it.

6. How long we keep it

An enquiry that does not become a booking is kept for up to three years and then removed. A booking record is kept for as long as Indian tax law requires the invoice behind it to be kept.

Ask us to erase your data and we erase it, unless a specific law requires a particular record to be held longer. Where that applies we tell you which record it is and why.

7. How it is protected

  • The site is served over HTTPS, so what you type into the form is encrypted in transit.
  • Enquiries are visible only to the staff who need them, behind a login on the admin panel.
  • Our application error logs are written without personal data in them: no email address, no IP address, no session and no full URL. That is deliberate, and it is what the DPDP Rules, 2025 expect of logging.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your data we will tell you and the Data Protection Board of India, as the Act requires.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you can:

  • Ask what personal data of yours we hold and what we have done with it.
  • Have it corrected, completed or updated where it is wrong or out of date.
  • Have it erased, where no law requires us to keep it.
  • Withdraw a consent you gave, as easily as you gave it.
  • Nominate somebody to exercise these rights on your behalf if you die or become unable to exercise them yourself.
  • Raise a grievance with us, and take it to the Data Protection Board of India if we do not settle it.

Email or call the numbers at the end of this page. Nothing is charged for any of this, and we answer within thirty days of the request reaching us.

9. Grievance officer

If we do not settle your grievance, the Data Protection Board of India hears complaints against data fiduciaries under the Act.

10. Children

This site is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under eighteen. The Act requires verifiable consent from a parent or guardian before a child's data is processed, and it forbids tracking, behavioural profiling and advertising directed at children. We do none of those things to anyone, child or adult.

Where children travel, their details reach us from the adult making the booking. If a child's data has reached us any other way, tell us and we will delete it.

11. Where this site sends you

The WhatsApp and call buttons hand you to WhatsApp and to your own phone app. The payment page links out to a payment provider. Map and social links go where they say they go. From the moment you leave this site you are under that company's privacy policy, not ours, and we have no control over what they collect.

12. Changes to this policy

We can update this policy. The date at the top of this page is when the version you are reading was published. Where a change materially affects how your data is used, we will tell you in the manner the Act requires rather than quietly editing this page.
